Terms of sale
The short version: you buy one Advent calendar for your household, you can use it all of Advent and until 19 January, and if it does not work and we cannot fix it, you get your money back.
Who we are
Starlit Door is made and sold by Slatehouse Studio, Mumbai, India. Write to us at hello@slatehousestudio.in.
Payments are taken by our payment provider, which handles the checkout and may appear on your statement as the seller of record. We never see your card or bank details.
What you buy
A digital Advent calendar for one household: 26 short doors, one opening each morning from 29 November to 24 December 2026, with reminders and a family page. You choose one edition (Scripture or Spiritual) and one audience (whole family, adults, or children aged 4 to 10).
It works in a web browser on phones, tablets and computers. Nothing is shipped and there is nothing to download.
The price is shown before you pay: ₹499 in India and US$12 elsewhere, once, for the whole household. There is no subscription.
How you get it
After payment you receive two private links: one for the parent and one for the rest of the household. Anyone with a link can open the calendar, so share them only with your household.
The calendar and your finished crib stay open until 19 January 2027.
Using it
The calendar is for your own household. Please do not resell it, publish its content, or share your links outside your home.
Every door is an invitation, not a rule. Some doors suggest lighting a candle or going out together: a grown-up decides what is safe for your home and stays with children while they do it.
Starlit Door is a family activity, not religious instruction or professional advice. Bible passages are from the World English Bible (British Edition), which is in the public domain.
Refunds
Because the calendar is delivered as soon as you pay, we refund only when it does not work and we cannot fix it, if you tell us within 7 days of buying. See the refund policy.
If something goes wrong
We work to keep the calendar running every day of Advent. If something stops working, write to us and we will put it right.
As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law where you live.
Changes and law
If we change these terms, the version that applied when you bought still applies to your purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Mumbai have jurisdiction, without affecting consumer rights where you live.
